Want to declare a French Major, a French Studies Secondary Major, or a French Minor?
Contact the French Undergraduate Advisor to schedule a meeting. Fill out the French major/minor form below and email the pdf to frenchadvisor@byu.edu before your meeting. You can also reach out to the Department of French & Italian at (801) 422-2209.
- French major, no minor is required; however, we strongly encourage combining French with compatible fields.
- French studies secondary major, consult with the French Advisor to learn how French can integrate with your primary major, but also contact the advisement center of your primary major to inform them you want to study French. You sill also need to fill out the double major petition and graduation plan linked below.
- French minor, contact the French Advisor but also the advisement center of your primary major.
