Department Research
Lingua Romana
Published since 2002 under the auspices of the Brigham Young University Department of French and Italian, Lingua Romana is a peer-reviewed academic journal (ISSN: 1551-4730) specializing in French, Italian and Romanian literature and culture. With each annual volume featuring scholarly articles and reviews of recent literary works, film/media, and secondary studies from these traditions, the journal also regularly publishes interviews with authors, filmmakers, and critics.
French Political Pamphlets
A fellowship within the department to sponsor the research of an important collection of political pamphlets printed in France during the period of the Religious Wars (1550) through the reign of Louis XIII (1643). Learn more about this opportunity and how to apply here.

Seeds of Success is a volunteer organization that arranges free tutoring for K-12 students in the community. Learn more here.
4-H Clubs are very flexible. Find a group of two or three friends and start a club doing something that you love! You will serve kids who are 8 to 18 years old by teaching them new skills. Learn more here.
