Italian Grammar Lab

This lab is for students in the following courses:

  • ITAL 321 (Advanced Italian, Part 1)

The Italian department has created a grammar lab to help students master the language concepts studied in class. When you sign up for ITAL 321, you will need to add a lecture section AND a grammar lab section to your schedule. Lecture sections of ITAL 321 meet either on MWF or TTh, while grammar lab sections are only held one day a week.

Each student must attend one grammar lab per week. Attendance and participation in lab sessions will count towards your overall grade in ITAL 321.

Each lab session is limited to a maximum of 12 students so that the grammar lab assistants can focus on each individual's needs. It is therefore strongly recommended that students come to the lab with specific questions. The lab assistant is there to answer your questions and to provide you with additional exercises to practice grammar skills according to your needs. The grammar lab is also a good place to practice your speaking skills.
